This lovely Golden Cranes Screen is hand-painted and hand-lacquered, and made of heavy, durable Elm wood. The Chinese Red-crowned Crane is the primary symbol of longevity in Chinese culture due to their extremely long lifespan (50 to 60 years). It is pictured here within a traditional landscape scene on a gold leaf background. The graceful arches of the panels make this a lovely focal point for any room.
