Uniquely shaped black lacquer cabinet with drawer, door, top and front panels inlaid with exquisite hand carved mother- of- pearl figures and scenery in "8 Ladies" design. Finished in a rich, clear lacquer. Doors and drawer front are curved bent wood. Special order in white or red lacquer, and or with "Birds and Flowers" design. Brass hardware is clear lacquered to resist tarnish. Black lacquered interior, with removable shelf.
